What cookies and tracking tools are
Cookies are small text files that the sites you visit send to your device, where they are stored and then sent back to those same sites on your next visit. Alongside cookies there are other tools that achieve a similar result — for example the browser's local storage, which lets a preference be saved directly on the device without sending it to a server. For simplicity, in this notice the word «cookie» also covers these equivalent tools.
Cookies may be set by the site you are visiting, in which case they are called first-party cookies, or by external services embedded in its pages, in which case they are third-party cookies. They may also last only for the browsing session, disappearing when you close the browser, or remain stored for a longer period.
This notice is provided pursuant to Article 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 and to the Guidelines on the use of cookies and other tracking tools adopted by the Italian Data Protection Authority on 10 June 2021, and it supplements the site's Privacy Policy.
Technical cookies and tools
Technical tools are those that are indispensable for the site to work, or strictly necessary to deliver a service you have expressly requested. For this reason the law does not make their use subject to consent: without them the site could not function properly, and they therefore cannot be switched off.
On this site, this category covers the local storage of the choice you make in the cookie banner. Your preference is saved in your browser's local storage under the key presenza_consent_v1 and contains only which categories you enabled and the date on which you did so. Its sole purpose is to prevent the banner from reappearing on every page and every visit. The data stays on your device, is never transmitted to any server, and is treated as expired after 180 days: once that period has passed the banner is shown again, so that you can confirm or change your choice.
If you clear your browser's browsing data, this preference is removed and the banner reappears on your next visit.
Statistics cookies
The site may use Google Analytics 4, an analytics service provided by Google, to understand in aggregate form how the pages are consulted: how many people visit them, which content they read, what kind of device they arrive from. This information is used to improve the site, not to identify individual visitors.
These cookies are not installed on your first visit and are activated only after you have given consent, either by accepting all cookies or by enabling the «Statistics» category alone from the «Customise» panel. The integration uses Google's Consent Mode v2: until you consent, the analytics_storage state remains set to denied, and the measurement script is not even loaded into the page.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Indicative lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga |
Generates an identifier that makes it possible to tell visitors apart, so that people can be counted rather than just visits. | 2 years | |
_ga_<ID> |
Keeps the session state for the specific Analytics property, allowing the start and end of a visit to be recognised. | 2 years | |
_gid |
Tells visitors apart within a single day, for the purpose of daily statistics. | 24 hours | |
_gat / _gat_gtag_<ID> |
Limits how frequently requests are sent to the service, to avoid overloading it during heavy browsing. | 1 minute |
Google acts as an independent controller for the processing connected to its own services. Further information is available in Google's privacy policy and on the page describing how Google uses cookies.
Marketing cookies
The site is prepared for the use of the Meta Pixel, a tool provided by Meta that makes it possible to measure the effectiveness of any advertising campaigns and to show more relevant ads to people who have already visited the site.
This tool is activated only if it has actually been enabled on the site, and in any case only after your consent, given either by accepting all cookies or by enabling the «Marketing» category from the «Customise» panel. Until then the ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization Consent Mode states remain set to denied and the script is not loaded.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Indicative lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
_fbp |
Meta | Identifies the browser in order to attribute visits to advertising campaigns and measure their results. | 3 months |
_fbc |
Meta | Stores the advertisement click parameter when you reach the site from an ad, so the visit can be linked to the campaign it came from. | 3 months |

Third-party services
Calendly. The introductory call is booked through the Calendly widget, which opens in a window layered over the page when you request it by clicking the dedicated button. Once the widget is opened, Calendly may set its own technical and functional cookies, needed to manage the calendar, the available time slots and the appointment confirmation. Until you open the widget, the service installs no profiling cookies. Full information can be found in Calendly's privacy notice.
WhatsApp. The «Message me on WhatsApp» links on the site are plain links: they install no cookies and simply open the app or the web version of the service, where Meta's terms and privacy notice apply.
Google Fonts. The pages load their typefaces from Google's servers. This request involves transmitting your IP address to the provider, which is necessary to deliver the file, but it does not involve installing profiling cookies.
How to manage or withdraw consent
You can change your mind at any time, without having to give a reason. In the footer of every page you will find the «Cookie settings» button: opening it takes you back to the preferences panel, where you can switch the «Statistics» and «Marketing» categories on or off individually and save your new choice. Withdrawal takes effect immediately: the Consent Mode states are set back to denied and any cookies already present for the disabled category are removed.
Alternatively, you can manage cookies directly from your browser settings, which allow you to block them, delete them, or be warned before they are stored. These functions are usually found in the section dedicated to privacy or browsing data: in Google Chrome under «Settings → Privacy and security», in Mozilla Firefox under «Settings → Privacy & Security», in Safari under «Settings → Privacy» and in Microsoft Edge under «Settings → Cookies and site permissions». Bear in mind that blocking all cookies, including technical ones, may prevent this and other sites from working correctly.
Withdrawing consent prevents any further collection of data for the disabled category, but it does not make unlawful the processing already carried out on the basis of the consent that was valid at the time.
